Description:
• A 500 mm long metal rod is supported in a plated brass tube with three tubules for steam inlet, outlet and themometer.The tube is mounted on a stand with an adjusting screw at one end and a micrometer screw reading to 0.01 mm on the other, with terminals for connecting a bell or galvanometer to indicate contact. With copper, brass and iron test rods but without thermometer.

Description:
• Apparatus is fitted on heavy channel base, at one end of which is an adjusting screw, at the opposite end is a Gauge for measuring the expansion. Supplied with one each of aluminium, brass and iron expansion rods but WITHOUT thermometer.

• To show the differences in expansion of different liquids over the same temperature comprising five bulb tubes with plastic scales, mounted in a frame and supported in a G. I. Sheet water trough 240 x 100 x 75 mm deep. The frame has clamps to secure it to the trough and two cross members, the lower cross member having holes and upper tubules to locate the bulb tubes in bungs complete with 35 mm dia bulbs and 15 Cms scales etc.
